Hello I can't see the Info Icon on my images. I believe that is where the map is hidden and I would like to check that it is working as I like to record where I took my images.
For example this photo should have the Info Icon displayed - https://lesleybray.smugmug.com/AustralianBirds/Herons-Egrets-Bitterns/i-tdXbTTn/A

Many thanks
Lesley

Okay finally worked it out after many hours of scratching my head. I need to have the Show Camera Info flagged as ON. Wow I don't really want to show my camera info but I do want to show the map. Any solution?

You can turn off the camera info and then just add a map block to your gallery. There is no way to display the map and hide the other info that I know of.

Smugmug's new map method is looking in Info" on ever photo. You only see that photo on the map.

To see a map for every photo in a gallery you have to add a map box/widget to the gallery.

But, you can add your own map button/link. Probably best put in the gallery description.

Add the gallery id and key to the end of this link. Find them in the page source, search on "rss200", it will be in the line just before that.
... "\/hack\/feed.mg?Type=gallery&Data=19845304_TXKrZ4&format=rss200"}, ...

Thanks Allen I will try this. Lesley
Change the map html to this.
... written permission of <a href="mailto:lesleybrayphotography@gmail.com">Lesley Bray</a>.
<br><br>
<a href="http://maps.smugmug.com/?feedType=geoAlbum&amp;Data=19743905_QdxTVz" target="_blank">Click to see map</a></p>

The target="_blank" in the link opens the map in a new browser window so they don't lose your site.

BTW, the mailto: only works if the viewer has a mail client application set up on their computer. It does
not work for web mail.
