    I really like this. It's unusual and intriguing. I wonder if you could achieve a little more tonal separation where the bright ground meets the white clouds, maybe by lowering the highlights in the sky a tad. But that's very minor. A really good image.

    I have no idea what creates the turquoise color, maybe the light reflecting on the sand?

    If I had to guess, I'd go with an algae, like at Yellowstone.

    This is amazing, Cristobal. Unless I miss my guess, the turquoise in the water is ice, is it not?

    It could be, the shot was taken in July, but there's still snow in the background. It could be white sand at the bottom, I'm not sure...
