I was asked to contribute to a silent auction last week, and offered a free photo session. This is the family of the woman who won the bid. Any thoughts?

    Or if 1 is the best group shot you got, I would crop it to just above his head in order to minimize the harsh background. And maybe you can dodge it down some.

    I'm sure they will cherish all of these for years to come. Although I'm not digging the role reversal with the little brother pulling the older brother in the wagon. Everyone knows little brothers are 2nd class citizens, come on now.

    I can't emphasize how important clean backgrounds are in shot. 1 misses the mark because of that.

    Nice ! I think #1 could be improved by cropping to remove leaves at top. Use a vignette to tone down the hot background. In Lightroom maybe cool down or darken the yellows in background. It is the harsh bright yellow that bothers me the most. I really like how you worked with the kids. The BW looks so sad, but good job overall.
    It is cool how the book uplights the boy's face.
