I was asked to show cute Jersey cows are by a cheesemaker who uses their milk.

Sorry, but imo, packed in a factory is neither cute nor "Wildlife".
An outdoor setting may have been a better choice to present the animals.

    Glad you liked this, Hunter.

These cows are at Dutch Hollow Farm, one of the most awarded creameries in the country for treating their animals well. You may have some bad associations with dairy farms, Earache, but you have somewhere else in mind.

These cows out in the open with sunny green hills and fluffy clouds in blue sky would make better shot.
They would still not be wild life but they would at least feel like they are roaming.

You seem to have missed the point...
My comment refers to whether, as a viewer, I perceive your stated, qualified, objective of conveying "cuteness" in these images.
As I commented, IMO, the setting and compositions do not succeed in this regard.
Contrary to your assumption, I have no opinion about this, or any other dairy.

The cheesemaker liked the fotos and is using them in promotional literature.

Which is why they say, "Blessed are the cheesemakers"!

If you ask, "What's so special about the cheesemakers?"

Answer is, "Well, obviously it's not meant to be taken literally. It refers to any manufacturer of dairy products".

Well, we all know this is a highly subjective game and that 'civilians' have different (often vastly so) ways of judging pics ...

Whilst possibly considered 'trite' or 'cliched', I'd have thought maybe something like this would've hit the remit better ... maybe with a bit of the farm / dairy in the bg (if it had a photogenic aspect) ?
