American Kestrels

I know we don't like birds on wires but this is the first time I was able to capture male and female Kestrels in the same frame so I'm keeping them wires and all.

    Amazing! Never seen a pair like this before. Nice of them to stick around while you got your shots.

    Hi, Kestrels are one of my favourites so it is nice to see a pair of them. Any idea why they perch on one leg? I had a Collard Sparrowhawk in the garden today and it did the same thing.

    Hi Richard, Not sure why they do that but they do it all the time.
