SmugMug app not viewable => writable error

First saw this happen a couple weeks ago. I was out in the sticks and figured it was a data issue. I had reason/remembered last night while in a 4G area.
Running SmugMug app version 3.1.29 on a Droid MAXX 4.4.4
I tried logging out and back in & uninstalling/reinstalling
but
every gallery I have tried shows image boxes with
"Storage location is not writable. Ensure it is mounted and writable"
I don't recall changing anything on my site for (well too long) a while.
I can see everything I desire using Chrome on my phone....but it's slower and not as nice.
