SmugMug Gallery Customisation
Ok so, I have the site set up and customised however I would like for the galleries to open up stretchy style i.e. large but when I try and do it, it messes up the rest of the site. Is it possible to set customisations just for the gallery pages please?

If so, what I would like is for something like the default massive smugmug style galleries but without the branding at the top.

I would appreciate help with this please because I think I'm nearly there and this is the only thing that's majorly doing my head in.

My site: www.markbattistaphotography.co.uk

I like the homepage etc the way it is, I just want to change the way the gallery pages work.

Thanks in advance

There is something in your customization that is altering the gallery styles. If I look at your site in Firefox using the Firefox Web Developer Extension and I remove your CSS the galleries look normal. With your CSS the gallery styles are "squished", using only part of the screen - and in the case of thumbnails style running all of the images together.

When you say "without the branding at the top", what do you mean? I don't see any smugmug branding at the top - what it is that you are trying to change?

A quick warning - you have allowed access to the original-sized images. That means that your images are free to anyone who wants a copy; they can simply use the download button. Go back into your galleries and set the largest display size to anything other than original. That will disable the download button and remove the Original sizes from access. The originals will still be used for printing. See ORIGINALS = a gateway to free photos, & right click protection is NOT PROTECTION.

Hi thanks for your reply
I'll change the original pic sizes in the gallery now - I wasn't too worried at the moment because I was just trying to get the site functioning with some content but you're right, thanks.

I think I know what it is:
There's a line that says:
/*----------------common------------------*/
#bodyWrapper{ width:940px; height:200px; background:#ffffff;margin:0 auto; }

If I change the width of this then it lets the galleries size to autostretch and gives me great big galleries like I want but it also then messes up the nav, the header, the home page and everything else :(

There's a copy below of all the css stuff if you wouldn't mind looking please? I like the way the site is but I'd just like the galleries to be bigger

CSS Code follows:
h1,h2,h3,h4,h5,h6,div,span,ul,li,p,br,textarea,inp ut{padding:0px; margin:0px; }
img{border:none;}
ul{padding:0px; margin:0px; list-style-type:none;}
a{font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; color:#666666; font-size:12px; text-decoration:none; font-style:normal; font-weight:normal; line-height:17px; outline:none; }

If I select Smugmug in the gallery settings instead of custom it gives more a look of what I want but it puts smugmug branding at the top which I don't want. I think what I'd like to do is have it like this but with my own logo at the top. By the way I really appreciate your help, so thanks a million

If you select Smugmug in the gallery settings it does not use your customizations. You must select custom - you are going to need to fix your CSS so it doesn't break the gallery styles.

Sorry, I don't have time to experiment right now - I'll try to look later, or hopefully someone else will jump in.

Ok, no worries, thanks Denise.
I might just select a journal style then and be done with it. Unless someone has chance to help. Thanks again, you've been a great help. Regards

Add the red in your CSS on this position.
Code:
#bodyWrapper{ width:940px; height:200px; background:#ffffff;margin:0 auto; }

.smugmug #bodyWrapper{width:100%; height:100%}
