Color Effects (Single photo) seem to be not working

I'd already done some color effects on single photos last night in this gallery: http://www.winsomeworks.com/Family/Events/HS-Senior-Prom-2011-Seth-Holly/17513901_JrfQQ5#1332978241_ZMZR6cx & thought I was good to go, but realized tonight that some or all of them (I'm not sure which) had not happened. I only used "Auto Color", actually, so I don't know about the other color effects. Anyway, I did Auto Color on quite a few photos such as 27-33, 40-43, and a few others. I'm not seeing the effect. Either that, or it is incredibly slow... like more than an hour. It used to show up in a couple minutes or less, and that's definitely not the case.

[ETA: Just noticed some other weirdness with the color effects tool. It's not taking me back to the photo I was working on-- the last time, it went to the 1st page of the gallery. Also, when this new form of the tool was implemented, it had new behavior: after doing "auto color" on one photo, it would take you on to the next photo in the gallery, just like the crop tool now does. If you didn't want to fix that photo, you'd hit "Go Back to Gallery" & it would do that. Now, it only allows you to fix one photo. While I'm mentioning all this, I'd like to add here that there's a major thing missing in this tool now that it has the capability to go on to another photo: there's no arrow ahead or arrow back! (In the crop tool, there is, & this one should behave the same). So even a couple days ago, when it did behave correctly by moving on to the next photo, you had to either click the color effect or click on "Current". We need the arrows to allow moving ahead farther in a gallery & make the behavior consistent with the crop tool, etc.... & much more user-friendly]

Oh my, it's getting even worse. Now, I click on "Auto Color" and nothing at all happens.... doesn't go back to gallery, don't see loading... nothing. Time to give this up for the night.

I'll check it again this morning first. Also, my additional comments may have happened after you saw this. As per my comments (copied here), could you say what the expected behavior is supposed to be once the "Auto Color" version is clicked on? The tool was changed, yet because it doesn't have the expected arrow ahead & arrow back keys like "Crop" does, it's difficult to know what is supposed to happen! Here's my comments:

Additionally: If there's not going to be an "Arrow forward" or "Arrow back" key, fine, but then one is left wondering why the next photo pops up after a correction is chosen, and then that's the end of the line (the one after that does not pop up).

Headed to work in a few minutes, so I can't start the HelpDesk back & forth conversation at this time. If anyone's able to copy these posts to them, it's fine with me. So in case others come looking, I wanted to post back to say "Apply Color Effect" (one photo) is still not working at all for me this morning. Also, the behavior after I click "Auto Color" is not consistent. With the first photo I tried correcting, I clicked "Auto Color" & got the message: "Changes are being applied.... etc.... appear later in your gallery..." but the photo just sat there; did not move to the next one, did not take me back to gallery. I had to hit "Go back to Gallery".
With the 2nd photo I tried "Auto Color", I got the message & immediately the next photo in the gallery popped up. (both photos were in the middle of the gallery, so they really should have behaved the same).
So, I'm hoping this inconsistency can be looked into. I never saw an announcement about the change in this tool (only about Crop), so I don't know how it's supposed to behave. But 3 suggestions for what a user would expect are:

    1. To get taken back to the gallery in the same spot after fixing a photo.

Or: 2. For another photo to come up after fixing one, then another, then another, etc... each time with the message that "Your photo is being fixed..."

    3. To have arrow buttons to move ahead or back in the gallery, so that there's an option for those photos that automatically pop up & do not need fixing. The only option now is "Current", but that takes you back to the gallery! (and not to the correct spot)

    4. If the next photo is going to pop up, then it should not be just one that pops up, but we should continue to see that behavior with each one. Right now (when it's behaving as it once was) we can only fix up to 2 photos this way.... kinda weird.

Color effects is working again. (at least auto color is) But I'd love to hear about my list in my last post & what is the expected behavior of this new version of this tool. It's got some weirdness going on.
