This was an experiment in multiple images [and wasting time in post processing :rolleyes ] . OK , a professional wedding photographer [ who still shoots film :huh ] told me that nobody would order prints of it , then I told him that I supply alll the images on disc so it wouldn't affect me . But anyway , with the tripod set up and some markers set up for them to follow you can get some interesting shots . Next time I do it I will shoot in manual so exposures don't change halfway ! I know it is a lot of playing around but I also thought of the same shot with a close upof the couple cloned in to the centre .... just something to give people something different for their wedding pictures .....
Nikon D80 , D50 , SB600 , SB800 , Nikon 18-200VR , Tamron 28-75 di 2.8 , Sigma 10-20 f4-5.6 , Nikon 50mm 1.8 . Tamron 17-50 f2.8 , Nikon 70-200 VR f2.8 .

What a novel idea! I like it, and I'll bet the B&G do too. It probably wouldn't work with variable skies (when the clouds are moving quickly and the sunlight isn't predictable), but weather permitting, I can dig it. thumb.gif

Wow, I just noticed, ISO 1600, f4.8 at 1/100th! What time of day did you shoot this?

The sun had just gone down and when I shoot a wedding I keep the D80 iso auto set at 1/125th sec since it is easier to remove noise than correct motion blur . I actually never fix noise afterwards anyway , who notices without a microscope ?

Some may think it's a cheap trick, but I like it, and it really does open up a lot of possibilities.

I just had a computer made up with a 2.1 gig core 2 duo and 2 gig of ram for batch processing 10 megapixel files . It does them in 2 seconds each .
photoshop has its place but I strive to shoot jpegs straight out of the camera that are right when I push the button . I know sometimes ps is unavoidable when conditions are not right and there is much fun to have with it . That is why I use a tripod quite a bit and take sequential shots .
