Maternity....take two...

Ok my second try at maternity...not really my deal...but people call me whose weddings I have photographed so I do them for them.
I contacted the venue where they got married and received permission to shoot her maternity shots at the same place they were married which was kind of fun.

Here is one from the wedding, chair looks familiar....

The second and the last are my choices, those are easy to look at and provide calmness.
The others scream a bit to much, note that the first one could have been a cool shot, but now the window is really burned out.

Thanks d3,
The window is bright on purpose, no way to get that shot without using flash otherwise....which of course is a completely different look.
Look how soft the light is on the couple, how the light folds around them.

Oke, thanks for the wedding picture.... strangely enough that looks a lot better with the same curtains.
It must be tone .

What if you take two pictures without moving the persons but with a faster shutter speed. Then stack them and mask. That way you can control the curtain. Just an idea...

Really lovely. Only one that doesn't really work is the color image. Partly the color tone to his face and the block intersecting his teeth. The B/W are really wonderful IMHO.

I think they're all very strong images and pleasing to look at. You should add those type of sessions to you business model.

The only "gripe" I can come up with is that because of the yellow color of the U block, the U is hard to make out and the word "tits" kind of jumps out at me.

Hey Zoomer,
I've done only a couple myself (maternity shoots) and I find they are not my cup of tea either--maybe because they tend to get so cliche

.
I like your shots w/ the exception of the one w/the dad, belly and letters, I just find it really odd. All the other ones I like very much and if they were photos of me pregnant, I'd be very happy with the shots, particularly #1.
