Some things I have been playing with lately put together - newest garden bed full of cosmos, backgrounds done with an airbrush, the tamron sp af180mm ld if macro, and cross polarised flash.

Cosmos is a good subject. If you catch them in the early morning the petals are rolled almost into tubes.

Working here from pretty much everything (pc, pc in incognito, laptop, laptop through vpn)? Sorry, don't know what might be up.

Yeah! It was good to play with a few different things - had two flashes and the sun to play with so I could light the background from behind or in front or light the subject through it, etc. I also had a play with making shadow masks out of old bits of sprue too to make them look less flash-y. Treated it more like a portrait session :D

I still see nothing. Using Chrome.

EDIT: Located the problem. I went into your post's edit mode (because I have permissions here to do that) to get the image addresses. I loaded one in another browser tab and Chrome gave me messages that your site's server is marked unsafe and didn't allow me to load the image. I manually had to allow and force image views. After that, all the images displayed when I reloaded this Dgrin thread.

    Beautiful shots!
