    super impressed
There is such a quiet, classy yet earthy vibe to these. Some of the most memorable images I've seen on here in a while. Incredible composition and timing. A reminder of how timeless good photography can be, regardless of trendy treatments and photoshopping. That said, the only suggestion I'd make is that your BW conversions could use deeper blacks.

They are all beautiful, but I especially love the quirky look on the bride's face in the getting ready shots. The torso-only shots of B&G. The FOTB portrait. The peek of her face before she walks down the aisle. The angle you used for the processional where she's looking off to one side, nervous. The gorgeous piano reflection shot.

How long have you been photographing weddings?

Urbanaries- Wow, thank you! Since we are so new to wedding photography it’s good to hear we are doing something right. I will experiment with the blacks; I do see how a little deeper black could produce a richer image. 1,2,5,6,9,12,14,17 (Piano shot),23 were all taken by my wife. I bought my first DSLR almost 2 years ago and then got one for my wife about 1 ½ years ago before that we had a point and shoot. This was our third wedding which took place last Saturday; our first wedding was in June of this year. I love shooting with my wife, it’s kind of funny sometimes we are reviewing each others images we can’t tell who took the picture.

Nice work! There is a certain freshness to these. The table/piano reflection shot is my fave. The car shot looks soft to me. For only your 3rd wedding this is some mighty fine work!

Thank you everyone! The comments really mean a lot and the critiques have been very helpful.
Mmmatt- Does the Mmm stand for something or is it like Mmmm… I love chocolate :)
Don’t know what it is with the car shot, I think your right, a bit soft, could be too dark but it definitely lacks something. I will have to mess with it. Fortunately I have not put the album together yet so I have a little time to play with it.
Urbanaries- I went back and played with the blacks a little and on the b&w images. Some of them definitely look better with a little extra black.

Ha! Actually, back in the dial-up Bulletin Board days, I was on a site and wanted to use my name but it was taken. This was me being frustrated and not wanting to pick a different name. I have used it most places ever since and it is still often available when I try new forums or whatnot.
