Howdy All,

Still working on my images from our Trip to South Texas.
We visited the 4 Lower Missions of San Antonio.

This one is from the Mission San Juan Capistrano, taken from the
vantage point of the Priests Quarters looking towards the Chapel.

    Howdy Pard,

When I was down there shooting the missions, I could not get over all the great photographic opportunities available. I did wind up with a lot of really nice shots, but I gotta' tell you Craig, your IR just sets your images apart from others.

    Great work thumb.gif

    Looking forward to more...

Outstanding shot, Craig! I best get myself out in my own backyard and get busy at the Missions. But like Randy says, your IR shots are in a league of their own!

    Howdy Don,

Thank You so very much, I have to say so many IR images
just don't turn out when post processing so this was such a
    pleasant surprise.
    Take care,

    Howdy You Rascal,

That's very kind of you to say, but you've set a pretty
high standard for all of us to follow.

I have to say the Missions and Goliad were so much more
than I'd expected, even with all my research and planning.
I really can't wait to go back for a nice relaxing visit to each of
them again. There's so many photo ops and with the ever changing light
and Season I'm sure they change every day.
    Take care,

    Howdy Lauren,

Thanks so much, had to laugh, I know that there's so many wonderful and
neat shots here in Cowtown that it makes me go, where is that?????

You'll have to let us know next time you come up, and hopefully
we can all meet up for a nice Lunch and maybe shoot a little.
    Take care,

    Howdy Alex,

Thank You so Very Much, I love that word,
I think it's what draws me into IR so deeply.

Its gorgeous Craig! Wish I can shoot some like these some day!
The white tower is sticking out and at least for me becoming the focal point......so I thought if there was a localized filter added to that area where rest of shot is slightly dimmed, to make it intentional focal point and the dark PATH leading to it....just a thought!
    Cheers m8!
    Keep em coming!

Boy, this is a classic " Craig " shot if I ever saw one. I tell you, brother, your IR work exposes dimensions and character that just don't come out otherwise. Like our pard Randy, I could shoot this old mission all day long and probably get a few images I like. But I wouldn't get anything that shows the soul of the place like your work does. clap.gifclap

    Take care,

    Tom
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    Howdy You,

Thank you so much, these Missions and the Presidio's
were so wonderful and with IR one never knows when
the post processing kicks in, this one just seemed to have
a certain look that I fell in love with.

And again, We're not carrying your Camera :D:D:D
