When the canons thundering roar, the crack muskets, the screams of wounded, and the bravado is gone, so are those why gave all. Never to return.

    Nice....i like the contrast and processing.....not sure if the romanticism of your words comes through completely......perhaps something else.....a fallen soldier or if the HATS were more prominent, indicating fallen soldiers....burned tent....that would make it more real.
    So real question is, to make that happen why didn't you set this on fire?:D

    I didn't try to have my thoughts seen as romanticizing but then again I can't write worth a S#!^.

    Thanks for the tip. I'll try burning it down the next time. :D
