Nice sharp pictures Ric. Well done! clap.gif
C&C always welcome. I can't learn if I don't know what I've done wrong or could do better.

I kinda prefer a partly cloudy day, keeps those sun sparkles from showing and
cuts down the dynamic range when shootin' white/black birds. But that high
    wind doesn't help.

    Nice ones Ric.

    Another beautiful set of pictures!
Once again, it's hard to pick a favourite. I like the second picture with multiple cranes in flight, perhaps because it's just a little different.

The coot chicks are terribly cute! The tonsure is too funny :)

Nice set Ric! I like the coot pic - the blacks look really good on this PC's monitor. It's also interesting that the chicks look just like those down here.

Ric, the first 4 are so superb I'm lost for words, not only the creatures, but the way you have captured the feel of their environment, especially how the reeds lean against the direction of flight of the bird in #1

    I'm in awe!!!

    Thanks.

These are great shots. I love that single Sandhill Crane, especially.

The combination of no direct sun light and the high winds acting as a blow drier, kept those unsightly blown highlight specks from the adhering water off of the cranes beak and legs/feet.clap.gif
