Adding Bing

Hi folks

I'm having difficulties to have my site verified by Bing.

I've replaced the Google <meta name="google-site-verification" content= with Bing's <meta name="msvalidate.01" in my account settings, but I still can't get my site verified.

I get an error message saying that

DNS Issue: we could not resolve the domain name for your site. If the problem persists, check the DNS setup for your domain or contact your hosting provider.

Any ideas?
Should I put the google code back again?

I suspect the only way to verify your smug site with bing is if you have a custom domain and can use the CNAME method of verification. It's shown as option 3 on this page - http://www.bing.com/webmaster/help/how-to-verify-ownership-of-your-site-afcfefc6.
