I am posting on behalf of a friend who has a major problem with the Camera Awesome App.
Over 1000 empty albums have been added to her site by it which are pushing the 31 real albums way way out of sight.

She has been in contact with Support who advised the only solution to get rid of these is to delete them individually which will obviously take a massive amount of time. Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so is there a quicker fix than doing this one album at a time?

My friend is aware of me posting here and will be along later, hopefully someone will have a better solution for her:)

I am really sorry about this, but at the moment - this is the best solution (Delete the albums from your Facebook account).

So to clarify for my interest - the Camera Awesome app was developed by SmugMug?
Has the error come from the app or from Facebook?

Hi I am the person who has had this unfortunate problem happen.

I have to check in here and say that I feel that it is very unfair that the SmugMug Camera Awesome app that I used one time and took about 20 pics with has caused this to happen to my Facebook. Although my friends can not see these empty albums, they are pushing down my 31 real albums, and I have to get past over 1050 albums to share one of my photos. I am an artist, and need access to my photos, so this is incredibly inconvenient.

I did a test and it takes four keystrokes to delete one album. I timed myself deleting 10, and I project it will take at least 3 hours of this boring, repetitive procedure to delete something that your app caused. 4000 keystrokes, too!

I did not make any changes to the app, so I have no idea why this happened. Though I contacted Facebook about this, I very much doubt I will hear from them.

I feel very unsupported right now with this news that it must be handled one by one. Can't your developers write some sort of a script to help with this problem?
