Common darter dragonflies

Beginning to see these Common darter dragonflies in the garden a bit more regularly now. Natural light. Most have been focus stacked using zerene. 600D/sigma 105 OS handheld (well using a beanpole).

    Great set Brian! I am always amazed how bugs pose for you! I can't get them to stay still for even a moment.

    These darter dragonflies are natural posers. They select a suitable lookout point and tend to use that as home base whilst they fly off every now and then to catch a fly.
