Great location! Is that Makapu Beach? I like #1 a lot but one small recommendation would be to clone out the 3 people on the horizon of #1.

Makapu'u beach. Yes it is. You've been?

I cloned them out for the regular exposures from this angle, but for the sunflare I left them in. I liked the effect of the onlookers silhouette on the horizon. We had a laugh about it that day.

    The shots are great!

My only knit pick would be that it might have been nice to get a few from above her to help open her eyes.

I went to high school in HI, Kalaheo to be more specific. mwink.gif 15yrs have passed but Rabbit Island is about as distinctive as Chinaman's Hat.

if the EXIF data is not attached to the image, im not sure what it is. i would have to dig through the archives to find it.
however, EXIF data is only relevant to the amount of ambient light, so its really not going to help you much.

the lighting was a single hotshoe flash (off camera) camera left set somewhere between 1/8 and 1/2 power in manual mode. this is how i shoot almost all of my work.
the image was captured wide. somewhere between 17mm and 24mm.
i exposed for the background, and used the flash to fill the exposure on the subjects.

    hope this helps
