I really need help on what to do about not being able to log in to my site. This problem has been going on for a few weeks now, and I cannot seem to figure out what to do. I will attatch a screen shot of what happens when I click on the "login" button on the bottom of my website page. I am on a macbook, using Safari browser. I have tried logging in from the smugmug url (www.bellagracephotographynow.smugmug.com) as well as my regular url (www.bellagracephotographynow.com), and I get the exact same results from both. It takes me to the login screen, but there is no place for me to type in my login information (see attatched screenshot).

How do we fix this? I need to be able to get in and edit some things on my site asap. Also, my slideshow is not playing when I access my website from an android style phone.

Thank you :)
-Melissa

You should also be able to login at www.smugmug.com - but given what you are describing I suspect you will see the same behavior.

Have you tried clearing your browser cache? Or tried to log in using a different browser?

    Hi Melissa,

I agree completely with Denise. Please try clearing your browser cache (I'd go ahead and clear cookies, too). And then try to login again. If you still have trouble you can try a second browser like Chrome or FireFox to see if you have the same issue there.

    We're standing by!

Same exact thing happened to me. See this thread ---> http://dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=249569

Also Mac and Safari. I was unable to resolve the problem with Safari, and now use Chrome for browsing all new Smugmug sites, including my own, which is still yet to be unveiled.

Yes, as David mentioned the issue is likely with your Safari. You may be using an older version that isn't supported anymore. Updating to the latest Safari should resolve the issue. If your OS X doesn't allow you to update Safari anymore, you can use either Chrome or Firefox. That should do the trick.

No luck guys :(. I'm really stuck here...

I restarted the computer, opened Safari and cleared the cache. I still could not log in. I then tried installing Firefox, and got a message that said that Firefox is not compatible with my computer. Then I tried to install Google Chrome, and it appeared to be intalling, however, when I clicked on the icon to open, a pop up window said, "you cannot use this application of Google Chrome with this application of OSX".

So, what do I do now? I have 12 photoshoots this weekend, so I need to be able to log in asap. Need help.... starting to worry.

By the way I am on Mac OSX 10.5.8 if that matters. The safari that I am using is 5.0.4. Also, if you haven't seen previous message, please check for all other details, concerning how to fix this. Thank you so much :)

It looks like Chrome is supported on Mac OS X 10.6 and later - https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/?platform=mac.

The only version of Firefox that will work on that operating system is no longer supported or updated - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/952406. There are links on that page to two (unsupported) versions of Firefox that appear to work on your version of the operating system. Maybe one of those will work for you.

The SmugMug supported systems page shows that Mac OS X 10.6 and 10.7 and above are fully supported - http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/93252-what-operating-systems-and-browsers-are-supported-by-smugmug-.

I'm not really a Mac person, but I was surprised enough by this thread that I did a little poking around. Did the world really abandon a 5 year old operating system?? Google certainly did. Looks like Apple did too. I haven't a clue what's broke with Smugmug and Safari. It appears, however, that you might be able to load an old version of Firefox that works. One of the following two links can aim you at the appropriate download, but I don't know which might apply.
If you have a PowerPC processor, look at Option 2 here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-no-longer-works-mac-os-10-4-or-powerpc
If you have an Intel processor, look at Option 3 here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-no-longer-works-mac-os-x-10-5
    Maybe this will help...

Im not sure what type of processor I have... not sure how to find out either. I will check all the links from Denise and Jim. Thank you. I HAVE to get this figured out by this weekend. I have too many shoots between Sat and Sun and have to have my website operable. (Unfortunately I do not have wifi at my house so I have been only able to work on this when I do not have my kids and can get to a wifi location).

Found out I have an intel processor. I was able to download an older version of firefox, and I can now log into my smugmug account!!! I miss Safari though, however, I will add that Smugmug was not the only program that was not working properly on my mac with my version of Safari... My facebook fan page was also not working properly at all and it would not even allow me to access messages from my clients, so I was not even able to read or respond to them via my computer. Firefox is allowing me to though.... so strange. Thank you everyone for your help.

Now, if I could just figure out how to switch over to the new smugmug so that my slideshow would play properly on a mobile device. Is there anyone that I can hire to make the switch and make my page look gorgeous? Just curious.

A search for smugmug customizers took me to a help page that shows some recommended companies - http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/1433669-are-there-any-certified-customizers-for-smugmug-.
