Wow, Never heard of air roots before.

Very interesting. I completely believe you, just hard to visualize since I'm from the US and where I lived air roots don't exist.
Tillandsia grow with out soil too. :) They're commonly called "air plants".

More info than you want to know

And for whatever reason I can't see the photo in question so I can't comment on whether or not I think it's real.headscratch.gif

    Edit: Oh nevermind... :p

Months old is still pretty recent. Who in their right would make a post and insert photos they were not going to maintain?

    Bad form! How rude!
No...you are the one being rude lying on the floor carrying on like a 2 year old. The shot may have been moved ...why should someone alter how they do things just to suit you ?? Search any forum in the world & you see it happens.

Lots more important things to get upset about.

The image was of a motorcycle that became imbedded in a tree as the tree grew. Kinda cool.

Sorry you can't see it! :poke

Mate that sort of thing is very common here. They swallow park benches/signs etc all the time.

This shot is my daughter playing in them at a local park...all our parks are full of them. You can see their size with the adult at the bottom of the photo. They grow VERY fast.
