    Unfortunately, you are not. Thanks for beta testing! :D

    We've tweaked our instructions very slightly for clarity (please re-read them, make sure you got it right), and we've fixed a problem on our (ahem...my) end. Sorry for the inconvenience. thumb.gif

    If the University of Michigan sees the ad in the Dgrin header, they might have a fit. rolleyes1.gif

    Hopefully in order not to prolong agony or failures in uploading, I noticed the following;

    Use "muenchiversity" in the subject of the email.

    I think the inclination would be to use;
    "muenchuniversity"

    If this ain't the/a problem feel free to delete this post.

    This is a great idea. I am excited to watch the interaction between Marc and whichever shot / photographer he goes with. This should be a great learning experience for everyone.

    I managed to get some shots up there, but for some reason the title and username does not display. I assume those get added manually..

    Thanks again for the opportunity.

    Actually the title and username should have been in your email. You can either add a comment on the photos (make sure it's not the gallery), or re-upload the images, and we'll go in and delete the dupes without the title/name on them.

    Strange - I put the name and title in the email and tried it again, but the text did not come through. I therefore added comments to each shot.
    You will see a duplicate, one with a title "Oak Creek Reflections" and the other without. I would appreciate if you would delete the one without the comment.

    Thanks,
    Dave

    There are more images coming in that have no name or title.

    Please make sure you include your username and title in the body of the email.

    If you are one of those that did not include it, please make a photo comment with the information, and then post here when you are done.

    EDIT: Also, if you're sending the message in HTML, then the caption won't show up in Smugmug. It only works with plain text messages. So, even if you do enter your username and the title of the image, please check to make sure it got there, and if not, add it via comments. Thanks! thumb.gif

    I've added two photos today. I guess I'm being dense as to how the username and image title show up with the image. I put my username and picture title in the body of the email. Should I be doing something else??

    Tom and everyone else,

    If for some reason the email doesn't automagically add your username and title as a caption, just leave a comment in the gallery (or link it here) and we'll add it in! thumb.gif

    It should be there nearly as soon as the email is sent. If it's not there after 5 minutes, something is wrong :D

    The problem is that if your messge is in HTML format instead of plain text then the username and title won't show. In that case, just do as Schmoo suggested and put it in the caption, so we can fix it for you. thumb.gif
