There can be no such thing as "too many pictures from Charleston". :D My husband and I spent several days there one November and though I can't speak for him, I fell in love with the place.

Great pictures! I especially like the night shots!

The Folly Beach Pier with your back to the Holiday Inn. I know it well!! My cousin lives 3 blocks from the pier. Beautiful looking series. I really like the sky shot of the bridge. Nice work!!

That's my beach! 30 years ago I lived in Mt. Pleasant and we would go to Sullivan's Island to hit the beach. We would hit the main drag, turn right and look for the lighthouse to park.

Thanks for the fun memories! thumb.gif

I see from your pictures that they are still using that crazy skinny bridge...and looks like they are building a new one. If I'm not mistaken, it's one way now...but, when I used to go down to Beaufort, SC...it was two way. That is a really skinny bridge...way up in the air. Not much room to drive.

    Nice images...really...thanks for sharing.

Kendel,,Morris island is between the Charleston harbor and Folly Island.

Thats the harbor at the top of the pic. If you look real hard you can see the lighthouse on the south end of the island out in the water.
Its so far out in the ocean, you can fish around it at high tide.

Ed,,,They tore down the two old bridges when they finished the new one. (Thank God) They recycled most of the steel and took the concrete offshore to add to the reefs that are already in place.
