Grandpa's old Camera

My Mother died recently and my Father has started giving away old items. Got this for Christmas, my Mother's Father's old camera. an AnsCo which has a nice leather case, not shown.

It looks like it may have taken the same old film as the Yashica D I used to shoot...

    My sympathies Don on your Mother's passing. What a wonderful heirloom to be passed down to you. Something definitely to treasure.

    Sorry your mother has passed on Don. Hope your good to go. I know I have a tough time with such things.

    Your mention of using a Yashica D reminded me of my first camera. A Yashica Electro. It died in the ocean and I didn't. mwink.gif I was able to save some of the exposures on the roll :D

    Condolences and best wishes Don....... I too inherited my Grandfathers cameras - Rolleiflex, Bolex, and Exacta - but I sold them before I knew what I had.
    Still have the super sturdy, solid aircraft-aluminum tripods though.
    The AnsCo looks well loved!
