  If your images are shared outside of smug then they can be saved via right click. They also can be saved from your smug site by retrieving the images from the browser cache (even if you have right click protect set to yes).
  
  Right click "protect" via your gallery setting is merely a stumbling block. It does present a message to the viewer but it does not prevent the viewer from grabbing it from the cache.

  FYI: SmugMug's right-click protection does not protect an image in non-gallery places such as forums, blogs, or Share emails. To keep your images out of forums and blogs, block external links (see below).
  
  Right-click protection is a deterrent for image theft, but it shouldn't be considered foolproof. To truly protect your images, lock galleries with a password or apply a watermark and disable your originals.

  Thanks - how do you disable your originals? I have mine set to show at X2Large ... is that the same thing?

  Yes, choose a display size that is smaller than original.
  
  You might want to check all of your galleries. I just looked at the 3 galleries in your Landscapes folder and all allow access to the Originals.

  Oy thanks Denise - I've been organizing and rearranging and creating new galleries without realizing you have to click the green checkmark when you choose your saved security set ... geesh ...

  I've been caught by that too. I've learned to double check my galleries after I create them, just in case...
