Sadly this bee didn't make it...

I spotted our kitten chasing and pouncing, and when I looked it turned to be this bee - but sadly, despite sugar water to try and help it recover, I suspect that our kitten struck a fatal blow either with a claw or a tooth. I placed the bee on a flower and it was alive for an hour, and I thought maybe it would pull through, but sadly, it wasn't to be... These were taken whilst it was alive.
