Roosting bee fly

Came across this female bee fly roosting on a blue-bell leaf the other morning whilst still fairly cold.
Series of shots taken in natural light (600D/sigma 105 OS) and full flash (5dmk2/MPE-65/430Ex flash) and some cross-eye stereograms.
All shots have been focus stacked using zerene.

    Brian,

    I have yet to see a roosting one.

    An exceptional set, perhaps with daylight making a big difference over flash.

    I was going to say how much I liked the profile portrait. Then I saw the stereo version. Magnificent!
