Traditional wedding...

Here is another wedding I did several weeks ago. I just haven't taken the time to share.

Side note about the processing: The bride specifically asked for a LOT of partial desaturated with the rose tones processed photos.... not necessarily my favorite, but it works for her.

1. Stephanie (candid during bridal prep)

3. First glimpses. I love the story behind this with mom looking anxiously on...

4. Formals: this couple wanted tons of them. And pretty much that was all they wanted. I usually find that formals are my weakest thing, but I have been practicing. So I ended up pretty happy with these.

After the ceremony I got a few minutes with the couple.

Meanwhile a different sort of drama was developing between the grooms nephew and the flowergirl...

Anyway, it was a very traditional wedding and no real room or time to play like I always enjoy. But the photos turned out pretty much just the way she wanted them, so that makes me happy.

Ok, they are all (as we would expect) gorgeous. But number 16 - gaWOW! That is just a PRICELESS shot!!!

I think the desat/rose works for her, especially since she had the black-white-pink theme in the wedding itself.

These are great, given the constraints you had to work with. It's also comforting to know I'm not the only one who struggles with posed photos. I think you did very well!

Love #4, I have to remember that shot! #3 was a great catch! I don't mind the rose saturation at all, seems to work ok here. Where do you accomplish that? Is it an action or done in lightroom? Thanks for sharing!

The rings look great. I also love 9 and 12. 1 and 11 are great candids. I just did a wedding Saturday, and they wanted lots of posed family shots. We hardly had any time for bride and groom, or even just the bride. You did well.

Amazing. After seeing work like this, it just shows either how not good I am, or how much I need to learn. I'm not anywhere near this quality. Excellent work. I think #12 is one of my favorites. Amazing.

They're all very well done, good for you for making an earnest effort to go outside your comfort zone.

That said, #9 is my fave....the usual heatherfeather awesomeness we're used to....

i also love #9! that is just a wonderful shot. i understand that things are 90% technically perfect instead of 100% just due to the lighting situation and all, but the feeling and composition more than make up for it. my favorite by far

Your processing of the rose tone is really pretty (wouldn't know how to do it myself if someone asked), but I really like it! It actually seems to fit the bride perfectly. I actually like when someone has an idea of what they like, it helps me customize to their liking to a certain point.
