Found: Nikkor 500/8 or Tamron 500/8 (300/5.6)

Looking for either a Nikkor 500/8 or Tammy 500/8 (#2 - 300/5.6).
These are MF AI/AIS mounts.
On the Tammy, I don't need the Adaptall II mount... just the lens.

    How much are you looking to spend? I have a Quantaray 500mm f8 I may be looking to get rid of. I am pretty sure it is a rebranded Tamron. It is an adaptall mount.

    I believe the Quantaray glass is actually Sigma re-branded. I'm really looking for the Nikkor 1st and actual Tammy 2nd. Might consider Jupiter or other 3rd parties... no offence, but Kits/Ritz lenses are no longer on my radar.

    No worries, I was just wondering if you were interested in a $50 lens. Its a friend who has it, I just know its a tmount & cheap.

    OK. I'm more interested in the IQ on this lens and the Q brand is not quite up to my snuff. But thanks for bringing this to my attention.
