St. Augustine, Get Away for (from) Christmas

So I bought a new car, and it was cold out, and we wanted to get away from Christmas stress. Jennifer I loaded up the TT (which means 5 small bags and camera gear) and drove 1000 miles south to St. Augustine. I was there in February, and wanted to go back.

We didn't have a place to stay, but ended up staying at the Casa Monica due to a referral from a nice guy we met. It was expensive, but not much more than the Hampton Inn. Another plus is that it was located in the old town where the action was.

Hung out with the alligators at the Alligator Farm (cool place)

It was a nice trip.

    nice car too :) I used to have an Audi S2 (also turbo coupe 4wd) but alas now i have a family car - lusting after an Audi S4 though mwink.gif

    Living on the other side of the world from the rest of my family means xmas really is a time to go and have a holiday which is nice - although with 2 young boys now we're travelling with a boot full of presents rolleyes1.gif
