Firefox login problems

Hi there,

For a number of weeks now, I have not been able to login to smugmug using Firefox. This is on a Mac, running 10.8.4, Firefox is up-to-date and it happens whether or not I have extensions enabled.

I can login using Chrome (haven't tried Safari)

I can login to dgrin (all extensions enabled, including noscript and 1password).

Does someone know what's going on? Is it just me? Any more information that might help - I am not a heavy user of smugmug.

Ian

Ian, I'm using FF latest on Mac, no issues. I suspect you have something running that's blocking. Have you completely cleared your cookies and cache and tried again?

It's not just you. This has been a problem ever since the new Huge log-in page. There have been multiple posts about it, but I think they weren't in the Bug Reporting forum, but the main Support forum. If I remember right, most of the people having issues were people with FF and a Mac, and other people with Safari. I use FF but with Windows Vista, and I haven't had any problems since the new Log-in page. I think others were told to email "Help", but the problem is "Help" will probably be swamped for weeks now.

Tried that just now - no luck. I still get the "Oops... There was an error on the server.".

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

    I can login but..
I am running an iMac (21.5 mid 2010) with OSX 10.8.4 and use Firefox (now at 22.0). I have not yet moved to the new Smugmug (not tried it out yet).

I can login successfully BUT the new login page does not remember my id nor my password like the old one did.

Support fixed my problem - I had to "reset" my firefox instance and the login screen worked. Follow the instructions on this page:

I'm running FF 16.0.2 on OSX 10.5.8 and the reset now auto fills my email, but not the password.

That's fine with me, thanks eyeohbee! thumb.gif
