I had always wanted to go to Australia, and finally my grand opportunity presented itself. I have a travel agent who needed “photojournal” of “Sydney and Beyond”. Needless to say, she didn’t have to beg too terribly much. Before I knew it, I had plane tickets, an awaiting apartment and my camera equipment. All I needed, and I was on my way. I flew from Chattanooga to Atlanta, then Atlanta to Los Angeles. Things went a little bit sideways at the Los Angeles airport (no huge surprise).

Just a shot from the LA Airport Parking Lot

Long story short, after much waiting, hours in fact, the flight was cancelled and they put us up in a hotel without so much as a toothbrush or change of clothes and then told us to be back at the same time the following night. I made do with a hotel courtesy kit, reading material I had in my camera bag and my camera. I took a few shots at the hotel, where else was I going to go?

Next stop, Sydney then on to Kiama. I'll keep adding now that I have mastered the pic posting!

More to come now that I've figured out the posting issue...
