Tack sharp before upload to SM, but.....

Using a MacbookPro, my images are tack sharp upon export from LR5 when viewed. Yet when I upload them to my SM account then link to forums such as this or others, they lose sharpness in spite of having the Sharpen For Screen button checked.

Is there an ideal image size, resolution or format that SM likes in order to maintain the sharpness I have before upload? I rather dislike what is happening for my images appearing 'fuzzy' once they get to SM.

TIA

That shouldn't be happening. Can you send us a few links to examples of ones that don't look quite so sharp as you expect?

Here is a full-sized export from LR5 which has been uploaded to SM and displayed as XL as a link in dgrin. It's just not as sharp as the original. I'll PM you for an email address to send the original export before it hit SM.
