Twitter share button no longer displays tally

Hi, my Twitter Share Button used to show the number of people who had clicked on it. This was displayed in a little balloon above the button.

The look of the button changed recently, which is fine. But since then the balloon and tally of clicks is gone.

(Note: my Twitter Share Button is very near the bottom on all of my pages).

Are you logged in doing customizations to the page? That can cause the numbers to disappear, but when you publish they will come back.

It isn't a SmugMug thing, Twitter changed things around. My WordPress does the same thing, no more counts.

Hi thanks for the reply. Yes I tried that. It looks like Twitter has done away with the numbers balloon.

I've just experienced the same thing with my Facebook likes on my SM site. I'm published. A couple of days ago the Likes went to zero. What can cause this?

Well after several days at zero it just bumped back up. The power of posting here? ;-)
