My website is http://www.brandihill.com . I can view the smugmug slideshow and gallery pretty well using firefox but once I switch to IE 7 the slideshow, the gallery, and the paypal donation button are gone.

I'm not sure if it's just my computer doing that since i haven't check on other computer but i really need this site to work since I will have a lot of people coming on it in the next few days.

Let me know if there's anymore information I can provide in order for you to help me fix thix problem.:dunno

Thanks in advance.

    Welcome to dgrin....wave.gif

Have a look now to see if it's working in IE7.
I see you are using the old slide show code and this could be part of the viewing issues.

Try updating to the new flash slide show and this will help. http://wiki.smugmug.com/display/SmugMug/Flash+Slideshow

It's working now. Thank you so much!! I want to know what you did. I'll try switching to the new flashslide show as soon as as possible.

I moved some code around that needed to be in order. If you want, I can do the slide show for you. Andy hasn't unlocked my ankle chains so I'm not going anywhere :D

Can you please redo it for me? The codes look kinda intimidating. Can you also align it to the left of the page with the blurb that says "Photos for Africa was founded..." on the right of it instead of on top of it? Lastly, can you change the pictures in the slideshow to the ones that is in the gallery named : "Delivering School Supplies to Sand Sloot".

By the way i'm not Brandi, I'm just trying to help her out with the technical part of her project since she is such a great person. She will appreciate your help greatly.

All done :) I put the text on the left. You can change if you like. The straight edge on the left and image on the right looked better to me. Well at 1am it looked right :D

Thank you for helping me helping her out Rich. I have one thing left to do for her and I need some advice. I need to put a separate page with a few pictures and words linked to the "about us" in the menu. Should i use the same method that i used to have the slide show page separately from the gallery? Or is there a better way?

    You're Welcome....thumb.gif
I'm thinking making a 'Guest' Book' type gallery and linking it to the navbar will be the east way to go.
Check out #31 in the FAQ and we can work from there. http://www.smugmug.com/help/customize-faq

That will work but there's one catch though. There will be more than one picture in the text for the "about us" page. The tutorial is only for one picture. Is there any work around for that?

Thanks again Rich. She's satisfied with just one pic on the page so I won't have to go thru that. I have one last worries. Lately she's been getting calls from a few ppl saying that when they click on the menu for the gallery, it either pop-up a porno website or lead them to one. I've check in the codes and don't see any reason why it would do that. I know smugmug don't use any advertisment engine too. So my only conclusion is that those ppl have a virus or spyware that's causing that. Since u are the zen master, can you please check on the problem for me so i can give her a second opinion?

Nevermind Rich, the problem has been solved. It was the stat counter that was being used on the website that keep sending those naughty pop-up to ppl.
