Photo bags needed

I guess what I'm asking for is an "accessory", so into this forum it goes.

I'm going to be selling some prints retail. The other photographers usually sell their prints behind a matting, and put the whole thing inside a plastic sleeve. Keeps everything together and protected.

I can't find these bags at Michael's, etc. The only alternative I know is to shrink-wrap. Any ideas?

Are you looking for a formal(?) plastic sleeve or a plastic bag for prints?

uline offers lots of bags, some retail oriented, but a lot of shipping and packing oriented. Poly-bags is what I think of first, but you might want something more. I am not sure which of these would be considered archival, maybe the website has the info?

Light Impressions has a range of products also. They cater more to the finished product side and have a lot of archival products.

Let me know if you find something at either of these or if you are looking for something completely different.

The poly resealable 8x10 bag looks suspiciously close to what the other guy is using. I need a bag with enough room to hold a standard pre-cut 8x10 mat. Will be selling a 5x7 image with a mat. I think this is the ticket!

Have to admit, selling online is a heck of a lot easier! But having at least one print size in the gift store for the instant gratification is a good idea. And the gift store is going to point patrons to my website for other print sizes and merchandise as well, so that is nice.

    Thanks.

    Found another source
In case anyone else ever needs these, Aaron Brothers (aaronbrothers.com, also have brick and mortar stores) also carries these "photo art bags" in a few sizes. Seem very good for keeping prints safe from fingerprints and minor damage. More expensive per bag than online from uline.com, but you don't need to order them 1,000 at a time.
