Young grizzly in Yellowstone

Hello all. I'm new to the dgrin community. Looking foward to seeing the work of others and sharing some shots of mine.

I recently went on my third trip to Yellowstone in as many years. As we were leaving the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, we noticed this guy, who was snacking on the grass and wildflowers after a rain shower. This is definitely the closest I have ever been to a bear in its natural habitat.

Nice work and *very* smart to keep your distance! Yellowstone is such a magical place - I look forward to seeing more of your shots.

Great shot. Not sure I'd be able to hold the camera this still! :D

P.S. - On viewing larger just now, I noticed ear tags. You should consider submitting to:

    YNP's reporting site

It would provide very helpful information . . .

    Thanks everyone.

Thelensspot, I seem to have been blessed with reasonably steady hands. Comes in handy with the wildlife at Yellowstone. :D

Eric, I didn't know about the YNP wildlife reporting site. Will definitely look into it.
