  This could be off track, but are you sure that you are loading them to the same gallery. I was wondering if the gallery that you are loading to might be a smart gallery?

  I'm definitely adding to the same gallery. Could you check the settings or something? It was recognizing duplicates before?!

  Is that because the gallery is private? In the past the help people on here could see it no matter what.

  I believe the folks from SmugMug can see all of your galleries but many of us who help on the forums do not work for SmugMug.

  I have duplicated your issue and see that it is not skipping duplicate files. Let me talk to the Engineers tomorrow and get back to you.

  Hi Kristen,
  Our Engineers are aware of the issue. I was hoping I could give you a temporary work-around that would work. Unfortunately I can't estimate when we'll be able to fix the issue.
  
  Galleries with fewer photos will not suffer from this issue; only your large galleries might exhibit this behavior.
