Adding pages to collage landscape?

Hello, I have hundreds of photos per gallery (new baby) and loading the whole page is an exercise in patience. I would like to add page numbers to my gallery while still using the Collage Landscape layout. How can I do this?

    I'm not aware of a way to specify a number of photos per "page" on the collage gallery styles.

    Have you considered creating a set of galleries by date instead of putting everything in a single gallery? Maybe a gallery per month? Or per week?

    This is exactly what I already do, but with a newborn baby the monthly galleries have hundreds of photos inside. I would not like to split it into weekly galleries since I can barely find time to sort them the way they are currently :)

    Is it possible to add page numbers at all?
