Having a Ball but a Lousey Time

I found another Pill Louse under the same pile of logs as previously. I got a few shots of it closed up and unwinding. I still need a shot showing the head and the gills both sharp but these tell some kind of story. The uprighting process seems to be very difficult for these crustaceans and there is a lot of rolling around and thrashing about involved.

In the last hour I have rediscovered some misplaced images from our visit to Corsica last year and the last few were of an isopod, possibly a Pill Woodlouse.
