I have an image in TIFF format open in CS4. I am trying to apply a displace filter but when I go to Filters - Distort, ther only filter available to select is Lens Correction. All the other filters within the Distort menu are disabled.

I've tried opening several images and I get the same. Can anyone help?

OK... think I figured it out. The images I was working with were RGB - 16 Bit. I switched them to 8-bit and that seemed to enable all the filters within the Distort option.

So the Displace filter won't work with 16-bit images??? headscratch.gif
