Yesterday was the first open house of the season at Bedrock Gardens in Lee, NH.

I first discovered this wonderful place a few years back. The web site calls it "An Oasis of Art, Horticulture and Inspiration", and I'd have to agree. It's a wonderful place to wander through gardens containing both flowers and sculptures.

Imagination feeds a journey through the property...

Walk through an arch formed of tumbling (metal) people:

Sit and enjoy the peace of your surroundings.

Flowers and trees contribute color.

A bit of rust shows in this wall of moving shapes:

If you're anywhere near coastal New Hampshire on one of the open house weekends I highly recommend a visit!

Another great series, Denise. My favorite of the bunch is the one with the chairs - great composition, nice exposure, really captures the mood.

I can see my next New England visit will be full of garden stops!

This thread is timely. Thanks, Denise, for posting photos of this neat place.
We'll be driving down Rte. 4 in a few weeks. We might decide to drop south a mile or so into Lee if we have some spare time.

There is only one official open house weekend each month but this page on the web site - http://www.bedrockgardens.org/visit.html - indicates that you can set up visits on other days. It looks like you will need to call ahead.

I highly recommend a visit, the gardens and sculptures are amazing.

Numbers 3 and 4 for me ... I'm such a sucker for reflections!! and who doesn't like great acrobatics--what a great sculpure. So imaginative! I like these quite a lot! --Carter
