St. Augustine, FL, is home to a vast array of private courtyards...some of which date back to the latter 1600's. They make for a prime target when I'm walking the narrow streets of the historic district. This one has always been a favorite of mine.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

That's quite the gate door. Looks medieval. Is that a mailbox to the right of it?

Thanks for looking in, David. Yes, that's a mail box. It's also very old but no where near the age of the wall.

    Take care,

    Tom

Cool, indeed. What would really be cool is to see what work you could generate while strolling through this fascinating place.

    Take care, my friend,

I appreciate the visit, Sara. I'm so color oriented that I seldom consider BW alternatives. I should give more thought to that option though.

    I hope you're doing well.

    Hi Tom,

This is a very inviting shot, it makes you want to be in there seeping lemonade (or a mojito!)

Hey my friend. I've got to get you acclimated to the hardcore Southern ways. The preferred drink...especially for the ladies...would be a mint julep. It's a tall, frosted drink made of Bourbon whiskey, sugar, crushed mint leaves, and shaved ice. It'll take the edge off any hot day.

    Take it easy,

    Tom
