  For #2-- How the camera loves smoke! And for #1, I would prefer a different crop bringing more emphasis to the artist's clothing, head adornment and eyes, and to the hand work being done, and less to the subject's back-- which draws attention as it is large and bright. I really like both of these and the event they represent!

  What kinda blew my mind is that cigarette and cigar smoking is
  not allowed in that area, but there were dozens of hookahs fired
  up. The air was thick with hookah smoke and redolent of the
  odor they produce.
  
  The two pictured were in seats facing the stage where some
  dancers were performing, and the whole seating area was
  under a cloud of smoke.
