Cactus blooms

These are blooming in front of some apartments a block from my house. How could I pass up such low-hanging fruit? Criticism is always welcome.

    First one is nice!
    BG in second is not ideal in my mind...

    Agree that the first shot is best. It is less complicated due to the softer and darker background, and that strengthens the comp., considerably. The backgrounds in the third, and especially the second, just distract too much from the subject in those two photos. For most photos of subjects like this I subscribe to the simpler is better club. I also crop photos with that same simpler objective as well.

    A very nice set. #1 and #3 really work well for me. Great bokeh, good light and hint of cactus in the background.
