Gallery doesn't sort on DATE TAKEN

Why won't a gallery sort on DATE TAKEN?. It appears to be sorting on the file creation date when I exported some images as a jpg.

    You'd need to provide a link to the gallery ... but my suspicion is that date taken is not present in your exif.

    There are some glitches at the moment. Some photos in my galleries are appearing out of order, although most of them are OK.

    Having same problem lately, sorting by date taken.
