My friend's 1st September Wedding
Ok. So here is my 2nd wedding as the main photographer. I thought I did terribly look at the lcd and was dreading looking at the photographs when I got home, but, I think I got some ok one's from the day. Obviously there aren't any ring shots or pics of the finished cake etc. I have far too many to post.
But, from what I have posted here, what do you think?

From ...

... the preperation of the cake, (I'm lucky enough to have 2 sister's who make cakes, so, I am able to get shots like this)...

... to doing hair ...

(I love this shot lol)

the bride's Son ...

... to doing make up ...

... to cute babies, (this is the bride's youngest, she has 5 children) ...

The bride's grand-daughter in the foreground with the flower girl, (the bride's 4th child), in the background ...

the bridesmaids (the bride's oldest daughter, niece-in-law, and the bride's 2nd daughter) ...

I wasn't allowed to use my flash during the ceremony. (In actual fact my flash didn't fire in any of the pics I have posted today).

I loved the way the natural light was lighting up the bride's face :)

Alison, good work, considering no flash? Was it a church thing?

what a great set of shots! very good use of natural light. I love the getting ready candids, the motion blur on the son and his hair gel is perfect!

the high key shot of the baby is so beautiful! I think though my favorite shot is of the two girls, the redhead and how it plays off the brick wall. So cute. I am loving your journalistic style, you're seeing all the beautiful moments and capturing them so well!

I also love the natural light shot of the bride, it indeed looks like the light is shining down on her. I'd love to see more shots of her, she is gorgeous!

Lynne already said everything I could think of to say that wouldn't get me in trouble. Very nice photographs. Judging by the ones in the church that you did post, I don't think the high ISO is going to trouble you at all.

I also really like the B&W with the light on the Bride's face - very cool.

As for what could get me in trouble? Well, the picture of the three bride's maids - very attractive ladies - and we'll leave it at that

Very nice pics! I especially like the one of the bride's granddaughter (!???! - the bride looks 25-30 years old!!?!!), the high key baby, and the last one posted. I'm still trying to figure out the bouquet.

I know! That bride is just gorgeous and I can't get over how young she looks!!

These are wonderful! I love the baby and the granddaughter and daughter. So cute! (My aunt is about 1.5 years older than me - 3 years younger than my cousins - so my family is similary!)

Wonderful set of photos - I love the lack of flash and think it works beautifully!

Great set of shots! Looks like your lighting in the church was beautiful. I love the shot of the little girl in the pew with the elderly lady. Look forward to seeing some more!

Oh my goodness! Thank you sooooo much EVERYONE for the lovely comments.
And to think, after seeing Scott's I was very worried about posting any from this wedding.

Yes they were ALL natural lighting, no flash.

The Bride is 43 years young
