Very nice indeed. I applied a little rotate but I think the off angle in your original might well be better. There is an attached image below.

The yellow look comes from the building lights which are directly infront of the aircraft they cast a yellow hue on everything.

The pics earlier were good now I return and they are gone hmmmm? I will look in smugmug and see if they still appear there.

Yes Smug seems down for the moment.

For WB in that situation is there a way to fix it preshot that would eliminate those yellowing lights?

Or is software my best bet?

But that is correctable. Look at this thread for an example with green light.

Weird. Shakey's last photo shows up. But not even a cut-n-paste will make the top ones show. Like there's something wrong with the smugmug link. headscratch.gif

Whaddya know, now they're all there. Oh happy day. You can fix the white balance in Photoshop, just play around with the color balance controls.

No problem. "CTRL+B" for the color balance control.

The tough part of this shot is that I know the plane is white but the ramp
lighting artificially colors it. How's about this?

I actually like the overy warm cast of the yellow light. It makes the cooler colors POP nicely. To make it a little less extreme, try a cooling filter in photoshop - no 82 at 20% works pretty well. Remember, while your eye compensates for the light when you're viewing the scene live, the actual contrast between the warm yellow light and the blue tail is closer to what you've captured in this photo.

here are two variations. In version one, I did as I mentioned above. In version two I also, in the Hue/Saturation palette, I lightened the yellows.
