My first attempt at concert photo's. Have to practice some more I think...
All shot with 1600 ISO. I think I'll try a little less next time.

All these are shot from the balcony. That's a coincidence because I took more but I find these 3 the best of today.

2 different drummers, huh? I like the 3rd one, the 1st two don't do much for me. I think the overhead perspective doesn't work as well for those? Maybe the 3rd works better (for me) because he is looking upward. I always like to see the faces of the musicians because of the emotion they put into the song.

Just my ramblings. I'd like to see some of the audience-level shots if you want to put them up.

    Nice first effort, Jeroen. nod.gif

The unfortunate thing about shooting from above is that you can't get their eyes in the shot. People like to see people's eyes.

I like the second one, nice tight crop. It gives you an idea what a longer lens might do for you.
    Sid.

2 drummers? I've seen 4 last afternoon. It was a 3 hour session where everyone could join in if they had the guts.

    Here are 2 more.

Oh, I get it now! I thought it was one band playing.

I like these new ones better, improved angle, you can see faces. thumb.gif
