Saint George church

Saint George church, Petrovaradin, Novi Sad, Serbia. The shot was made handheld but at the end I kinda liked how it turned out. This church is not so often opened for visitors, so I had my opportunity when local Croats were celebrating the birth of Ban Jelacic (1801) and I visited the Mass. This is the oldest church in Petrovaradin, and it was built in period 1701-1714. The church is a part of the Suburbium a small baroque town, and a part of The Lower Fortress of Petrovaradin.

C&C are as always more than welcome.

Well done! I suspect that the light wasn't the best but you did well with it.

Thank you Cornflake. The light wasn't the best and my aps-c sensor on 450d couldn't do better I guess. Tripod is a must have but at least I caught the atmosphere.
